Bar H Bbq in Royston

Great bbq place! Very clean. Service is awesome! Best bbq around! Husband says best Brunswick stew he's tasted since his grandmother's.

If you love Bar B Que, you need to eat at this place. The pork plate with stew, slaw, chips and a sweet tea is my go to, but I've tried everything and never been disappointed. The stew is "elite level" in my life long stew quest. Don't go late on Saturday night, they may run out. It's that good!

This place is second to none. The quality of food, service, atmosphere cannot be beaten. Also- having loaves of bread at the table is a health hazard as multiple people stick hands in the bag (pretty gross if you think about it)... just an FYI for people that complain about not having a loaf of bread at the table. I'm glad Bar-H brings out bread slices separately unlike other restaurants. Bar-H gets a 100 on health scores annually for a reason. The waitresses are PHENOMENAL and always check on tables to make sure customers are happy and full! :) No complaints there. I will forever be a customer of this place.

Based on previous experience, very disappointed. Ribs were extremely dry, made me think they were left over from last week. Conscientious staff, multiple offers of extra hash. Has been great in the past, this was well below par as the ribs was the main course. Hash did seem watered down

Best stew ever! Chicken is amazing and its heartbreaking when they run out so get there early!

Speedy Baby backs are the best around. Speedy knows what he doing with the baby backs.. Service is also great.

CLEAN, GOOD HELP, AND EXCELLENT FOOD..6 STARS IS A BETTER RATING....

We always go through the drivethru/pick up. Yes, sometimes it’s slow but the food is worth the wait. My husband gets the rib plate and I get either the chicken plate or 1/2 lb of meat & a pint of stew. The tea is sweet & cold. We love going here and the food is worth the price.

Lines maybe long but for the price and quality they are awesome. But if you want some dessert you better get there early because they go quick.

It was good but I grew up when you ate fish you had bread slices on the table in case there was a bone in the fish that you wouldn't get choked.. Other than that it was good.. Also, teens were waitesses and they stopped at our table constantly.. Its nice to see if you need something maybe once or twice but she stopped at our table every 5 minutes I know.. It was irritating cause we couldn't even carry on a conversation.. 😩

Excellent food and great service as long as you go in. Don't do the drive through, though, as they are slow.

Very good bbq and baked beans. Unlimited stew refills which is awesome! Their cake is good, too! Pleasant experiences.

Very good all round place to eat

Very reasonably priced. Food usually good,my chicken half was mostly uneatable this time. Everything else was good and service in very quick.

We've all been to places where the waitresses walk around with pitchers of tea refilling the glasses. At this place, they put the pitcher of tea on the table, then walk around with a pitcher of Stew refilling the plates! Refills on BBQ and slaw too! Somebody help me!

Amazing place. Was visiting family who recently moved to the area. I was craving BBQ and family said Bar H was the place to go. Not disappointed at all. I got the ribs sooo tender the meat fell off the bone. The servers were kind, polite, and very attentive! The brisket was also very tender and well smoked nice flavor and tender. The Cole slaw was very chopped fine. The stew tasted like a very thick puree hearty soup. The pulled pork my kids loved and ate everything. The pies were delicious and perfect size. The sweet tea was home made which was a treat. Being from the north you don't get the southern tea which I miss. Overall great place for familes, kids and delicious food

Decent bbq. Country style you just don't see much anymore. Jug of sweet tea at every table! I would certainly go back. Very friendly folks!

A must eat,don't go through Roston,Ga. With out stoping.

The pork was good but the bbq sauce was way to watery. I asked for a Sweet Tea and I pray what I got was not their Sweet Tea because it had no sugar in it what so ever. Brunswick Stew was okay but I will stick with mine

Very very very tasty!!! I am from Perú and for me is the best Barbecue that I eat in Royston. I love it!

Never disappointed here. The food is always hot and comes out super quick. They have the best Brunswick Stew around and it's a never ending supply with the waitresses coming around with fresh pitchers to keep your plate filled. They are always busy, but you get in and out quicker than anywhere I've been to. Everyone here is super friendly and they're always smiling!

Not bad. Rating solely on the chopped pork and stew, I'd have to put BHB just a notch below another nearby bbq joint. The unsauced pork was a little dry and bland, however either of the two sauces flipped the script and made it quite delicious. The stew was a bit watery, but very similar to the other place. Redeeming factor was the unlimited refills. Our party also tried the regular ribs and the chicken. Both were reported to be Outstanding. Finished off the meal with three of the homemade cake slices. Also quite delicious.In all honesty, if I was only interested in pork and stew, Danielsville would still be my first choice, but for for more variety (and quantity) Bar H is hard to beat. Highly recommended and I'll definitely make the trip back out there.

Quick service and the food is excellent

Our family eats here almost one time a week lol we love it! Best place ever! Baby back ribs sell out fast so get there at 5:00 5:30 if you want to try them. I love their bbq sandwich and chips.

Atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. Service is adequate and prompt. I had the chicken plate with slaw and beans. My chicken half was quite dry but flavor was good. The beans and slaw are refillable which is a bonus since both are very good and the reason for 3 stars.

Wish I could give this place more than 5 stars! Wonderful experience all the way around- really good food and some of the nicest waitstaff I’ve ever experienced. The menu is not overly complicated which allows for your order to be served quickly, and the waitress came around several times to provide “seconds” on the food. The pork bbq was delicious- (absolutely no fat) as was the Brunswick stew and baked beans. We ordered sweet tea and they brought out a pitcher to leave on the table. I would highly recommend Bar H

Outstanding! The only barbeque restaurant I've ever been to that gives you unlimited Brunswick stew, and the stew is delicious! The chicken and barbecue was great too. To top it off, I've never had better service. The prices are very reasonable. I definitely recommend this place.
